Day 1 : Arrive Medan Airport – Bukit Lawang
Arrive at Medan International Airport. Meeting service and continue drive to Bukit lawang. Spend the night in Bukit lawang.
Day 2 : Bohorok ( Bukit Lawang) – Berastagi
Bahorok is one of the rare places where Orang utan are living in the wild. Today we are making a day hike to spot the Orang Utans and much more animals in the jungle. Spend the night in Hotel Brastagi.
Day 3 : Berastagi – Parapat
We tour via the scenic back road across the Karo Plateau to the delightfully cool and picturesque town of Berastagi. We stop on the way at Pematang Purba to see the long house (Rumah Bolon) which was belonged to the royal families of the Simalungun Batak tribe.Tongging Hill gives us a beautiful view of the northern part of Lake Toba. Besides that we stop at Sipiso piso Waterfall and Lingga Village to see a glimpse of the way of life of the Karo Batak Tribe and their typical houses with open floor plan in which eight families live together under a single up swept or rectangular roof of ijuk thatch. After lunch we Continue to parapat. Spend the Night at Parapat.
Day 4 : Lake Toba
We take a cruise on Lake Toba to the central island of Samosir, where the colourful Toba Batak villages cling to the shore. We visit Ambarita Village, which has an archeologically important meeting place for the King of Siallangan that served as a hall of justice. Spend the Night at Parapat.
Day 5 : Parapat – Medan – Bogor ( Via Jakarta )
Early morning we leave for Medan. Upon arrival in Medan, transfer to the airport to catch the flight to Jakarta. Upon arrival in Jakarta transfer to the hotel. Spend the night in Hotel Bogor.
Day 6 : Bogor – Bandung
Proceed to Bandung.Visit the Botanical Garden and Gunung Mas Tea Plantation at Puncak. Spend the night in Hotel Bandung.
Day 7 : Bandung
Full day tour in Bandung. Drive to Northern part of Bandung visiting Mount Tangkuban Perahu, further we drive through tea plantations. In the Afternoon we drive back to Bandung and visit Padasuka village, which is famous by it’s Saung Udjo to enjoy traditional bamboo music performance and for Angklung workshops. Spend the night in Hotel Bandung.
Day 8 : Bandung – Jogyakarta
Transfer to train station for the executive train to Jogjakarta. The train will drive through Parahyangan district and provides beautiful scenery along the way. Spend the night in Hotel Jogyakarta.
Day 9 : Strolling Jogyakarta
In the morning Jogyakarta City tour By Becak ( Pedicab ) where we visit the Sultan’s Palace, water custle, Sono budoyo museum, traditional Market. Spend the night in Hotel Yogyakarta.
Day 10 : Strolling Jogyakarta
We visit Batik home industry and Kota Gede for silver smith. We continue the trip to visit the magnificent 8th century Hindu Temple of Prambanan. One of the highest Hindu temples. Spend the night in Ary’s Hotel Yogyakarta.
Day 11 : Jogyakarta – Borobudur – Makasar
Proceed to Magelang for a visit to the famous Borobudur Temple. The massive stone stupa of Borobudur is one of the greatest of all ancient architectural monuments. Built with forced labour from the surrounding countryside between about AD 750 and 850, Borobudur predates Ankor Wat in Cambodia by three centuries. Through a Buddhist creation, it incorporates Persian, Babylonian and Greek influences. Transfer to the airport to flight to Makassar. Upon arrival at Hasanuddin Airport Makassar, we will directly depart to the Hotel. Spend the night in Makasar.
Day 12 : Makasar – Toraja Land ( Sulawesi )
In the morning we will directly depart to Tana Toraja with approx. 8 hours drive passing through the Buginese villages with their typical houses on poles. On the way, we will visit the fishermen village in Barru district with its beautiful beach panorama. If we are lucky, we also could see the traditional Buginese “ Pa’bagan “ fisher boats. Lunch will be served at a seafood restaurant in Pare-Pare. In the afternoon, stop also will be made on Puncak Lakawan for having coffee break while enjoy the spectacular view of Mt. Kabobong. Late in afternoon, arrive in Rantepao, Tana Toraja. Dinner and overnight stay at Toraja.
Day 13 : Toraja Land
After breakfast, we will take you on a full day Toraja tour. First, we will visit Lemo where we can find hanging graves with their rows of Tau-Tau sculptures. Then we will visit to Tampangallo, an ancient and natural grave in a cave with its entombed deceased. On to Kambira, where we will explore the extra ordinary of the baby graves on tree which called “ Tarra Tree “. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Rantepao. After lunch, we will visit Marante & Nanggala, local Torajan villages with big Tongkonan houses and rice barns. In Nanggala we also could find bats hanging on trees around this village. At last we will visit Kete’ Kesu, a local Torajan village which listed on the world heritage book where we can see old Tongkonan houses with their rice barns. Spend the night at Toraja.
Day 14 : Toraja Land
After breakfast, we will take you on another full day tour around Tana Toraja. In the morning, we will visit Bori’ where we can find ancient megalith stones which already exist since thousands years. Then we will take you to Tinombayo highland to enjoy the superb view of the rice terraces and Torajan local villages from the hill-top. Then we will visit Batutumonga where we can view the town of Rantepao. Then we will visit Lokomata where we will find graves on a giant megalith stone. Continue our trip by taking a soft trekking from Pana to Tikala passing through the several Torajan villages with the local daily life style. Lunch will be served at a local Restaurant in Rantepao. In the afternoon, we will visit Pallawa & Sa’dan famous as the center of wood carving and weaving center in Tana Toraja. Spend the night at Toraja.
Day 15 : Toraja Land To Bali, Via Makasar
After breakfast, check out hotel. Then we drive back to Makassar via the same road of 1st day. In the afternoon, arrive in Makassar. Onwards, transfer directly to Hasanuddin Airport Makassar to catch your flight to Denpasar (Bali). Spend the night in Ubud.
