Tour Details

Wild Boar Traditional Hunting is indeed at a crossroads. Even hunting pests like wild boar is needed by farmers to pay attention to the balance of nature. As a hunter, you must always adhere to the conservation principle.

Indonesia has a large hunting area. Java which has high poaching potential. Hunting apart from controlling pests also generates foreign exchange for the people at hunting locations, such as providing transportation, accommodation, guides, trainers and various other supporting professions. This is a hunting tourism destination in Indonesia.

Pangandaran has beautiful natural scenery. This region is heavily dependent on plantations and agriculture as well as marine products. Hunting invitations are usually issued by residents, because wild boars are harassing their crops. But there are times when the boar does not show its nose. But don’t worry, Pangandaran has villages that are still inhabited by wild boars such as in Langkaplancar District, Pangandaran District, Cigugur District, Cijulang District, Kalipucang District, and Padaherang District.

Pangandaran started making wild boar hunting and fighting pigs with dogs as a new tourist attraction. This tradition, originating from the Tarumanagara Kingdom, continues to develop in Pangandaran. Because, topographically, Pangandaran has extensive forests and hills, which are suitable habitat for wild boars. In addition, if the pig population explodes, people’s plantations and rice fields will become targets. The activity of hunting pigs is only armed with traditional spears and each hunter is accompanied by a trained dog.
